Stretching 10 feet from wingtip to wingtip, California condors once ranged from British Columbia to Baja California and inland to the Rocky Mountains. This bird-- North America's largest-- was the first species listed under the Endangered Species Act in 1973. Oregon Zoo and US Fish and Wildlife service staff will share information about their work breeding condors for release and eliminating threats to this species in the wild. Discover how you can do your part in this conservation success story. Suitable for ages 10 and up.
